Audience Saw Tandav Web Series Mocking Indian Gods
Saif Ali Khan’s web series ‘Tandav’ has been released on Friday. The web series seems to be engulfed in controversies as soon as it is released. The audience has expressed displeasure over the dialogues and scenes of ‘Tandav’.
In the first episode of the web series, it is shown that actor Zeeshan is seen disguised as Lord Shiva at the function of VNU University. Zeeshan tells VNU University students, after all, who do you want freedom from. Meanwhile, in the garb of Narada, the stage operator says, “Narayan-Narayan. God does something. Ramji’s followers are constantly increasing on social media. I think we should also devise some new strategy. Zeeshan says, “What should I do if I change the picture?”
After this, the stage operator says, “Bholenath you are very innocent.” People have objected through social media by taking this scene of ‘Tandav’. Many people on Twitter are drawing anger from people for showing Lord Shiva this way and commenting about Lord Ram.
A Twitter user named Ankita Thakur shared the video, writing, “Ali Abbas is the director of the Tandav web series and is fully involved in promoting the left-wing agenda. He is glorifying the gang in pieces. Zeeshan is shown on the stage abusing Lord Shiva in disguise.” Another user Akash Sikchi wrote on Twitter, “Don’t watch Tandav, it’s a completely one-sided web series. It has tried to create the image of JNU (Jawaharlal Naharu University) and there is nothing beyond it. Bollywood is campaigning to clean its image.
The web series ‘Tandav’, based on the political drama, features several actors in the lead, including Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Dino Morea, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Zeeshan Ayub, Sunil Grover, and Gauhar Khan. The web series has been released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
Dimple Kapadia Is The Real Hero In The Tandav Web Series
Twinkle Khanna said mother Dimple Kapadia was heavy on Saif Ali Khan’s acting Actress Twinkle Khanna has also given her review regarding the Tandav web series. Twinkle has termed her mother Dimple Kapadia’s acting better than Saif Ali Khan in this web series. Twinkle says that her mother’s acting has overshadowed Saif Ali Khan, but Saif Ali Khan has also looked much better.
Twinkle tweeted a review of a media institute, writing, ‘My mother is the best. Her acting in Tandav is stunning. Dimple Kapadia has played the role of an ambitious woman in this web series, who was close to three-time PM Devkinandan and becomes PM after her death. Meanwhile, she faces challenges from Devkinandan’s son Saif Ali Khan.
Twinkle Khanna has described her mother’s performance as the best, but she has also written that Saif Ali Khan has also looked fantastic. Other actors have also performed well, but she is prejudiced about her mother. In another tweet, Twinkle Khanna wrote, “Saif has looked very good. Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub, Sunil Grover, and Kumud Mishra’s acting have also been very good. Mother has performed the best after this, but it prejudiced my opinion.”
Tandav web series is released on January 15 on Amazon Prime Video. Tigmanshu Dhulia has also appeared in this series which came with 9 episodes. Although his character dies in the very first episode, he has managed to make an impact. Apart from these legendary stars, stars like Gauhar Khan, Dino Morea, Anoop Soni have also appeared. This web series is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who is famous for directing films like Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan.
