Finch is now going to stream on Apple TV+

Finch, a Sci-Fi film previously known as Bios, was scheduled for a theatrical release by Universal Picture in Oct 2020. The release of the movie was pushed serval times because of the ongoing pandemic. Only now, the wait is over and Finch is finally releasing on a streaming platform.

Apple isn’t done with Oscar award-winning actor Tom Hanks. It is tom Hank’s second major movie which is shifted to Apple TV+ because of COVID-19. The WWII drama “Greyhound” was scheduled to be released in June 2020 by Sony Pictures.

It was later picked up by Apple TV+ for its digital release and released on July 10, 2020. It was also nominated at the 93rd Academy Awards. In Addition to this, Tom Hanks is producing a web series “Master of Air” which will be directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga.

We all know when Tom Hanks is a part of a project then the expectation is high. And after Netflix leading all studios in Oscars. Apple TV+ wants to catch up with this high-profile films like “Finch”. Not only Finch, but Apple also has some other projects too including Leonardo Di Caprio’s ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ and Will Smith’s ‘Emancipation’ under its belt. This project could add some more gems to the Apple streaming giant. And it could encourage fans to buy Apple TV+ subscription even more.

Film star Tom Hank will play the character named Finch in the movie, a robotic engineer who is the only survivor after a solar event. Finch has spent a decade in an underground bunker but after getting a terminal illness he creates a robot to protect his beloved dog. And goes on an adventure full journey across the country. Finch is expected to be released later this year.
