Netflix’s Knives Out 2 Cast Beefs Up To Get Bigger And Buzzy!
As each day passes, Netflix keeps adding a new name in the cast of the Knives Out sequel. Netflix’s latest prestige acquisition comes with Daniel Craig suave private detective character Benoit Blanc. In addition to this, Knives Out 2 surprisingly adds many big names from the industry to make the Knives Out sequel a big movie event.
Every new addition in the cast of Knives Out 2 made headlines. First, musician – actor Janelle Monáe (Antebellum, Homecoming) came on board, followed soon after by Dave Bautista (Guardians Of The Galaxy, Army Of The Dead), Edward Norton (Fight Club, Primal Fear), and Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision).
Recently, news came out that Knives Out 2 cast also includes Leslie Odom Jr (One Night In Miami, Murder On The Orient Express); and, Kate Hudson (Almost Famous, Truth Be Told).
The movie plot of Knives Out 2 is still a secret. The only thing known about the plot is that it is written by Rian Johnson, director of the franchise, who is also producing it with Ram Bergman under their T-Street banner. Rian Johnson had bagged an Oscar nomination for his Knives Out 1 screenplay last year.
Knives Out 2 seems to be following in the footsteps of maiden Knives Out film, which, besides Daniel Craig, boasted a stellar ensemble cast of Ana de Armas, Don Johnson, Chris Evans, Katherine Langford, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Toni Collette, Jaeden Martell, and the late Christopher Plummer.
Netflix acquired the Knives Out sequels, Knives Out 2 and Knives Out 3 from original owner Lionsgate, under a whopping $469 million deal. Looking at the mouth-watering cast that is shaping up for Knives Out 2, Netflix seems to have picked up a cool deal.
Undoubtedly, Knives Out 2 is going to be one of the much-awaited projects from Netflix.
