ALT Balaji recently released the third installment of the ‘Broken But Beautiful’ series and it has a whole new plot and cast. Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee played the lead character in the show.
In the show, Sidharth Shukla plays the role of Agastya Rao, a very talented director who nonetheless faces difficulties in work because of his high artistic standards. He appears in the show as a very stubborn character who never conform to lazy compromises.
In the show, Sonia Rathee is playing the character of Rumi Desai. Her character in the show is Rich, Beautiful but wears a fake mask to hide her true feelings of insecurities and inadequacies. In the beginning, they hate each other with passion but slowly and without realizing they begin to fall in love with each other.
The performances of Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee in ‘Broken But Beautiful- 3’ are praiseworthy. However, critics have mixed reactions to the show. Their statement for the show is just broken and not beautiful at all.

The plot of the show is a very old one – a boy meets a girl, first they don’t like each other but then they begin to like each other and then hate each other again only to fall deeper in love with each other. Yet, the show is proof that this formula can still work if used craftily.
One of the plus points of the show is its fast pace narrative. It keeps the viewers engaged and perhaps is the main reason why even if the show has a predictable plot we can enjoy watching it.
Broken But Beautiful S3 is different from its previous seasons in more ways. Season 1 and 2 were too full of heavy emotions to be able to incorporate any humor. But luckily this is not the case with the third season.
This is not to say that ‘Broken But Beautiful-3’ is not about deep emotions but that it was able to be funny in addition to being deeply profound. The show also has great production values and many well-crafted dialogues that are in many ways highlights of the show.
Broken But Beautiful Season 3 is not for people who only love action and thrill and can’t stand tender and sentimental love stories. On the other hand, people who are die-hard romantics and love to watch tender and sentimental love tails will find the show captivating. This show was specially made for such die-hard romantics.
