The list of The Times 50 Most Desirable Women 2020 has been unveiled, and India has made its choice! The ranking is based on votes cast in an online poll (on www.toi.in/mostdesirablewomen), along with an internal jury.
The list features women under 40 from various fields and industries across the country, and it puts the spotlight on the young and new breed — from women who have made heads turn with their great looks, confidence, talent, and style, to those who have made news over the years for the right reasons.
This year, Rhea Chakraborty takes the top spot on this list. In 2020, the actress made headlines by involving in the stretched case with drugs and Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise. Probably this is not a good thing for the actress but she managed to be on the list.

Also, in the Top 10 are – Adline Castelino (Miss Universe 2020 – 3rd Runner-up) at number 2, Disha Patani at number 3, Kiara Advani at number 4, and Deepika Padukone at number 5. Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anupria Goenka, Ruhi Singh, and Aavriti Choudhary (LIVA Miss Diva Supranational 2020) take the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth place, respectively.
Some of the new entrants on this list include Anuja Joshi, Shreya Chaudhry, Neha Jaiswal (LIVA Miss Diva Runner-Up 2020), Tridha Chaudhary, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Alaya F, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Kalyani Priyadarshan (Kochi Times Most Desirable Woman 2020), and Aaditi Pohankar (Maharashtra’s Most Desirable Woman 2020), among others.
To everyone’s surprise, 18 women are the new entry in the list and the only possible reason for this is the rise in OTT content. We got to see the acting skills and screen presence of actresses like Aditi Pohankar, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Tridha Choudhary, among others.
