From 83 to Jersey, Upcoming Bollywood Movies Release Date Announced
The pandemic seems like not affecting the Bollywood box office at all. Probably this is the reason that we are going to get some of the biggest stars-led Bollywood films in the next 2-3 months. All the Bollywood movies which have ‘Blockbuster’ written on their screening are about to release.
No matter whether the movie will become a huge hit or tank at the box office. It would be a historical incident when we got to see back-to-back movies of Bollywood A-listers. Check out the slate of Upcoming Bollywood movies release dates announced recently.
1. Sardar Udham – OTT Release on October 2021
Finally, after years of wait, Vicky Kaushal starrer Sardar Udham gets a release date. The movie is helmed by Soojit Sircar. Sardar Udham is a biopic about Sardar Udham Singh. It is a period drama with the sting of nationalism and lots of thrillers.
The latest poster revealed the original title as well announced that the movie will be put in the Amazon Prime Video’s Library in October 2021.
2. Sooryavanshi – 5th November 2021
Rohit Shetty’s cop universe faced a standstill because of the global Pandemic. The movie was supposed to release early in 2020. Finally, creators have confirmed that Sooryavanshi will clash with Marvel Eternals. Thus, the movie will hit the theatre on 5th November 2021.
The movie is a continuation of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe which already gave us Singham and Simmba. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh played the titular characters respectively.
3. Bunty Aur Babli 2 – 19th November 2021
The crime comedy from Yash Raj Films was in news for a couple of years. The movie starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Sharvari has a lot of buzzes. Especially because the original ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ was a massive hit.
By God’s grace, the movie is scheduled to release on 19 November 2021. It would be lovely to see some refreshing chemistry from Yash Raj Films after so many times.
4. Tadap – 3rd December 2021
Ahaan Shetty is about to make his big Bollywood debut opposite Tara Sutaria in Tadap. The movie is helmed by Milan Lutharia. Fans are expecting the movie to be larger than life. The good news for fans is that movie is scheduled to release on 3rd December 2021.
5. 83 The Film – Christmas 2021
Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited film about Kapil Dev’s biopic will release on Christmas. Well, this makes me believe that Santa is real and he always brings good gifts for good boys. The movie has a huge buzz after Ranveer Singh’s look reveal.
6. Jersey – 31st December 2021
Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey is the remake of a South movie with the same name. However, the actor has created a huge fan following with his career-defining performance as Kabir Singh. Fans are expecting to witness such a commendable performance from Shahid Kapoor again.
7. Prithviraj – 21st Jan 2022
Manushi Chillar’s debut was on hold for quite a long time. Well, no more waits as Akshay Starrer Prithviraj is scheduled to release on the third week of next year. It is safe to say that Prithiviraj would be the first big hit of the year as no big-budget movie is in line right now.
8. Laal Singh Chaddha – Valentine’s Day 2022
The big shock comes as Aamir Khan left the Christmas spot for other films. Well, because Aamir has left Kiran Rao too, it is easy to understand Aamir is in no mood for big clashes for his films. Laal Singh Chaddha will release on Valentine’s Day next year.
9. Jayeshbhai Jordaar – 25th Feb 2022
After the release of Sooryavanshi and 83 the film, Ranveer Singh will play the Gujrati Jayeshbhai Jordaar in the movie by the same name. He will feature opposite Shalini Pandey. The movie looks promising with Ranveer Singh’s charismatic looks.
10. Bachchan Pandey – 4th March 2022
Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey is also scheduled to release. It looks like Akshay Kumar has a release date almost every month. Bachchan Pandey’s cast includes Jacqueline Fernandez and Arshad Warsi along with Akshay Kumar.
11. Shamshera – 18th March 2022
Did you know that Ranbir Kapoor had no releases after Sanju? It is almost 3 years since we saw Ranbir Kapoor in any movie. While Brahmashtra is still in the production process, the good news for the Ranbir Kapoor fans is that his long-awaited movie Shamshera will release in March 2022.
12. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 – 25th March 2022
There has been a lot of news about Kartik Aaryan recently. He lost his film Dostana 2, which has many releases that include Freddie, and Dhamaka. In the meantime, the release date of his upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is announced. The horror-comedy starrer Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani will release on 25th March 2022.
13. Mayday – 29th April 2022
Recently, a multi-starrer movie is announced with a stellar cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and Angira Dhar. The movie Mayday is in the production process and the film is slated to release on 29th April 2022.
14. Heropanti 2 – 6th May 2022
Tiger Shroff will hit the theatre again with Heropanti 2. The movie release date is confirmed by the studio. Tiger Shroff will be seen opposite his SOTY 2 co-star Tara Sutaria. The movie is directed by Ahmed Khan and is scheduled to release on 6th May 2022.
