Mrunal Thakur Should Get Meaty Roles Ft. Dhamaka Trailer
Oh boy, we saw the Netflix Dhamaka trailer and it has everything fans may need. From an interesting star cast to suspense to everything, people are looking forward to the Netlfix Original Dhamaka starring Kartik Aaryan and Amruta Subhash.
However, as an ardent fan, I am a bit skeptical about Mrunal Thakur and the type of roles she gets in the movies. The actress managed to record her presence in the movies even though her part is small. And we wish to see Mrunal Thakur in meaty roles in movies and web series.
In the movies from Super 30 to Toofan, she gets to play a love interest in the movies and that too, the movie is everything but a love story. You can check yourself.
Super 30 – She played Supriya Singh Narula, the fiddle of Aanand Kumar in his biopic movie. Her role in the movie was limited to a couple of scenes. It was more like an extended cameo.
Batla House – Batla House is another movie inspired by a real incident. Mrunal Thakur has very little to do in the movie.
Ghost Stories – She played the lead protagonist in one of the stories, and that’s it. You should check the movie on Netflix.
Toofan – Again the sports drama is the whole Farhan Akhtar movie even though he was backed by a stellar supporting cast.
Mrunal Thakur Upcoming Movies And Her Roles
Dhamaka – The upcoming Netflix Movie Dhamaka is sold with the news that Kartik Aaryan will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. For once people may recognize Amruta Subhash in the movie, however, nobody talks about Mrunal Thakur in the movie.
Jersey – The movie Jersey starring Shahid Kapoor is a story about the father-son relationship. Again, what you will expect from Mrunal Thakur’s role in the movie.
Aankh Micholi – A family drama similar to the one created by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. It might be Mrunal’s biggest exposure in the movie.
Pippa – A war drama starring Ishaan Khattar has been announced, and just after a couple of weeks makers announced the wrap for Mrunal’s part in the movie. Again what do you expect? It’s a war drama.
Thadam Remake – An action film starring Aaditya Roy Kapur in in making. The movie might be a big hit and loved by the masses, but there’s certainly less to nothing for an actress like Mrunal.
Even though Mrunal is an actress in making, she should get meaty and career-defining roles in the industry. We hope to see upcoming projects of Mrunal Thakur as the actress is capable to make magic happen on the big screen.
