Lionsgate Play has dropped the official trailer of their first Indian Original show ‘Hiccups And Hookups’. The sleek choreography and sexiness of the show are quite appealing. It is definitely going to hit the sentiments of urban digital audiences.
The web series is an official remake of the popular show ‘Casual’ however makers tried their best to fit the narrative in the Indian context. The story revolves around a newly-divorced single mom (Lara Dutta) and her relationship with her brother (Prateik Babbar) and millennial daughter (Shinnova).
The trailer has shown all the main leads having a series of casual relationships. For instance, Lara Dutta was seen getting cozy with another actress in a certain scene as well. For most of the part, the show doesn’t feel Indian at all. However, this is something new that fans have been asking for months.

The success of the show is now heavily dependent on the performances of the actors. We wish to see such stories with already popular actors in Bollywood. From the short trailer, it looks like the actors gave their 110 percent to the show.
Since for most of the screen time, we will see our lead actors in dozens of casual relationships. It would be interesting to note down if actors resist themselves to be completely in for the part they are playing. Honestly speaking, dry humping and body-hugging is not the answer to making Hiccups & Hookups web series 10 times sexier.
TKunal Kohli helmed web series ‘Hiccups & Hookups’ has talented supporting cast includes Divya Seth, Meera Chopra, Meiyang Chang, Khalid Siddiqui, and Ayn Zoya, among others.
Rao’s family is not like a typical Indian family at all. This interesting piece of content promised goofy humor and blush-worthy moments.
