The year 2021 is ending and all the entertainment bloggers are now making the list. You get to see dozens of recaps and the best of types of the list on various websites. While watching the list and getting overwhelmed to see all these fresh talents, I wonder why some amazing names and performances were not mentioned.
As the results on various websites hold their grounds, some performances were praised once but couldn’t include even in honorable mentions in the lists. Maybe this is what underrated means. Here, take a look at some of the amazing performances by actors which remained underrated.
1. Vikrant Massey – Haseen Dilruba
All the psychotic characters have some charms especially when they took center stage in the movies and shows. Vikrant Massey shone in the character of chaotic Rishu in Haseen Dilruba. Sadly, we didn’t see his name in any of the brilliant performances this year.
2. Satyajeet Dubey – Mumbai Diaries 26/11
The list of underrated actors also includes a brilliant performance with the given material. Thus, Satyajeet Dubey delivered a remarkable performance in the Mumbai Diaries 26/11 web series.
3. Gagan Arora – Tabbar
Even though the web series Tabbar belongs to Pawan Malhotra, all the actors gave their best in their limited roles. While everyone talked about Ranvir Shorey, Supriya Pathak, Paramveer Cheema, and others. Gagan Arora remained underrated despite his brilliant performance in the series.
4. Abhishek Thapliyal – Aspirants
Abhishek Thapliyal is the breakout star after the success of the Aspirant Web Series. Actors like Naveen Kasturia, Shivankit Parihar were already popular with YouTube videos and other series, Abhishek Thapliyal was the new man in the team.
Sunny Hinduja became the talking sensation while Abhishek Thapliyal’s brilliant acting in the series remained underrated.
5. Abhishek Banerjee – Ajeeb Daastaan & Ankahi Kahaniya
We have seen Abhishek Banerjee in many projects recently. His role of Hathoda Tyagi made him a fan favorite. However, the actor keeps representing himself in various other roles. His roles in the anthology series Ajeeb Daastaan and Ankahi Kahaniya were praised but for most of the part, he remained underrated.
