Gehraiyaan Watch Online For Deepika Padukone And Ananya Panday
For a while, we have heard a lot about Gehraiyaan and the on-screen chemistry between Siddhant Chaturvedi and Deepika Padukone. So, the movie is a fresh take on the complex modern relationship, but it literally went overboard with its marketing.
The movie Gehraiyaan has nothing new to offer but a delightful watch for Valentine’s Day eve. Talking about the much anticipated onscreen chemistry and Deepika picking up such bold characters, it is true.
However, we are talking about Indian A-list actresses. True that Gehraiyaan is Deepika Padukone’s boldest on-screen incarnation, but it is nothing compared to what we kept watching in even Indian OTT platforms.
Gehraiyaan Movie Review: There Can Be Better Representation Of These Issues
All the lead actors Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa did a wonderful job with the provided material.
The story revolves around Alisha Khanna, 30, ambitious, who finds herself at a crossroads in life. Her six-year-long relationship has grown monotonous; her career seems to be going nowhere.
The moment she had begun to accept this reality as unchangeable, her life is usurped by the arrival of her cousin, Tia, and her fiancé, Zain. She ended up having passionate relationship with Zain as she bonds over a troubled past and a common wish to break from its confines.
The climax of the film just made it an ordinary watch and even the movie seemed a bit longer than usual. It would be good if screen time was equally shared by all the actors and we have got to feel for other characters.
There’s an ample try to make Deepika Padukone’s character shine in the moments and to make Alisha likable. The film depicts women can be mean sometimes in the relationship or to find their happiness and it is okay.
Still, I think there can be a better representation of these issues with these characters.
