The big news is from RGV’s upcoming Indo-Chinese movie Ladki: Dragon Girl. To everyone’s surprise, the movie Ladki: Dragon Girl is releasing in 5 languages + Chinese across the world. Earlier, the movie was titled ‘Ladki: Enter the girl dragon’ which seems objectionable.
There’s always some sort of controversy with the RGV movies. One of his previous releases, Dangerous Khatra was backlashed by theatre owners and the audience for objectifying LGBT relationships through the male gaze.
The movie was finally released in June but barely got any theatres. On the contrary, Ladki: Dragon Girl got massive 4000 screens in Chine alone. The movie Ladki: Dragon Girl will release on 15th July 2022 worldwide.
Ladki: Dragon Girl Story And Synopsis
The movie ‘Ladki The Dragon Girl’ is based on martial arts. The film is set to release across the country in 5 other languages. However, the big news is that the film will release in China on a massive scale.
Actress Pooja Bhalekar is in the lead role in the film. Pooja is an artist skilled in martial arts. The actress revealed that she has also taken special training for this film. The film has been produced by Ram Gopal keeping to cater to an international audience.
Ladki the Dragon Girl is estimated to be released in about 40 thousand theaters in China. A part of the film has also been shot in China and it will also have some actors from there.
Apart from Hindi, ‘Ladki: Dragon Girl’ will also be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Ram Gopal Varma confessed that he has been a fan of Bruce Lee since childhood, so he has chosen this concept.
The artist of the film has been a martial artist herself. Pooja knows Judo-Karate. For the film, he has learned the tricks of martial arts separately to perform her action scenes.

Ladki: Dragon Girl Actress Name
Pooja Bhalekar is a martial artist turned actress. She shot to fame with her Indo-Chinese movie project Ladki Enter the Girl Dragon. Recently, while promoting the movie, Pooja Bhalekar shared the stage with RGV and talked about her movie Ladki: Dragon Girl.
She stated that, Ladki: Dragon Girl is the first of its kind martial art movie in India.
RGV stated that he has seen Enter The Dragon years ago and he wanted to make such a film in India. However, there isn’t a culture for martial arts so he waited this long. He further addressed the problem of not being able to find a female actor for the project.
He wanted to cast someone who not only knew martial arts but also could act and had a camera-friendly face. RGV recalled that someone suggested Pooja Bhalekar’s name for his film. He contacted Pooja Bhalekar thinking that she was a taekwondo champion.
When Pooja Bhalekar demonstrated her martial arts, RGV signed her for the movie. RGV thinks the film Ladki: Dragon Girl is his “most ambitious film” only because of Bruce Lee.

Ladki The Dragon Girl Release Date
Since the movie has been postponed several times, the creators owe us an explanation. RGV has explained the reason for the delay. He stated that the reason for the delay was the actor’s schedules. Also, Pooja Bhalekar is a taekwondo specialist and took the time to train in Jeet Kune Do – Bruce Lee’s style. The Chinese production company also joined and asked to make a few changes to the scripts.
This all leads to the long delay in the production of Ladki: The Girl Dragon.
