What To Look In Rana Naidu Web Series

The series primarily focuses on Rana Naidu’s character, and Rana Daggubati delivers an exceptional performance. The character of Rana Naidu is complex, and Rana portrays it with subtlety and intensity, showcasing his acting prowess.

Venkatesh Daggubati, who is known for his endearing family dramas, has a new makeover in this series, portraying a character with grey shades and foul language. Although it may take time to adjust to his new avatar, Venkatesh delivers a convincing performance, proving his versatility as an actor.

The confrontation scenes between Venkatesh and Rana are few in number but engaging. Surveen Chawla, who plays Rana’s wife, delivers a decent performance, while Abhishek Banerjee, who plays Jaffa, is outstanding in his well-written character. The supporting cast also does justice to their roles. The last four episodes of the series are particularly interesting and have some noteworthy moments.

Overall, Rana Naidu is an engaging series that showcases the acting prowess of its lead actors, Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati. The series explores complex relationships and emotions while keeping the audience hooked with its intriguing plot.

Rana Naidu Review: What Went Wrong With Ray Donovan’s Indian Adaptation

Expectations were high for the digital debut of Venkatesh and the presence of Rana Daggubati. However, the series did not fully meet those expectations and fell short.

The story, which revolves around a crime backdrop with a family drama, is simple and could have been told in a concise manner. Unfortunately, the show drags on for too long, making it worse. While a good screenplay could have saved it, the series fails to engage the audience despite the presence of excellent actors and directors.

The sub-plots lack depth and consistency, and the family drama is not well-developed. There are no significant high moments in the series, and the presentation is flat. Only in the last few episodes does the show pick up momentum, but by then, the viewer may have already lost interest. The editing team also did a poor job, with several sluggish sequences that cause extreme boredom.

The use of foul language is common in web shows, but in Rana Naidu, it is excessive and unnecessary, causing irritation among viewers.

In conclusion, while Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati’s performances are commendable, the series fails to deliver an engaging and exciting narrative, making it a disappointing watch.

Rana Naidu Web Series Performances

Production-wise, Rana Naidu has good standards. John Stewart Eduri’s music is decent, and the background score in the climax scenes is solid. Jayakrishna Gummadi’s cinematography is acceptable, as the dark crime world is well-captured through his lens.

The Telugu dubbing is excellent. However, the editing team’s effort falls short as the series is tedious with lengthy sequences.

Directors Suparn Verma and Karan Anshuman’s work on Rana Naidu is below average. The story lacks substance, which does not allow other actors enough room to shine. The writing is weak, and the drama is insufficient to raise the story’s level. If not for Venkatesh and Rana’s exceptional performances, the show would have been a major disappointment.

Conclusion – Whether To Watch Rana Naidu Web Series On Netflix Or Not

Overall, Rana Naidu is a crime-action drama that works somewhat. The final episodes have some good moments. However, the show’s writing issues and long runtime undermine the brilliant performances of Rana and Venkatesh. You can still give the series a chance for their performances, but do not set your expectations too high.
