The shooter was identified as Audrey Hale, a former student of the school, who had no criminal history.
The victims were identified as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, William Kinney, Cynthia Peak, Katherine Koonce, and Mike Hill.
Two of the guns used in the shooting were obtained legally, and the shooter had maps of the school and its entry points.
The shooting took place in a lobby-type area on the second floor of the school, where the shooter fired multiple shots.
At least five victims were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and three children and two adults died from their injuries.
