Web Crime is a crime-themed original associated with Rocket Reels, India’s vertical-first OTT platform. The series was included in Rocket Reels’ original content slate announced in August 2025. The project features Rishabh Chaddha in the lead, while Ankush Bhatt is credited as its director. Rocket Reels has positioned Web Crime among its crime and thriller-oriented projects, designed for viewers who prefer fast, mobile-friendly storytelling.
Rocket Reels focuses on vertical entertainment, meaning its shows are created primarily for smartphone viewing. Instead of traditional 30- to 60-minute episodes, the platform uses short, bite-sized installments that allow viewers to follow stories quickly. Web Crime fits naturally into this format because crime stories can use short episodes to introduce a mystery, reveal a clue or end on a cliffhanger.
Web Crime Rocket Reels Cast
The officially announced lead cast of Web Crime includes Rishabh Chaddha. The series is directed by Ankush Bhatt.
Rishabh Chaddha
Rishabh Chaddha is the principal actor announced for Web Crime. His involvement places him at the centre of the series and its crime-focused storyline. However, detailed information about his character name and the supporting cast has not been widely revealed.
Ankush Bhatt
Ankush Bhatt is attached to Web Crime as its director. He is also associated with another Rocket Reels project, Scam Alert, which was included in the same original slate.
Web Crime Story
The complete storyline of Web Crime has not been officially revealed in detail. However, the title and its placement within Rocket Reels’ crime-oriented programming indicate that the series revolves around crime, investigation, online activity or situations connected with the digital world. The concept is particularly relevant to the modern internet era, where social media, smartphones, online identities and digital communication have become closely connected with everyday life. A crime story built around the web can explore how technology can create opportunities for criminals as well as investigators.
Rather than presenting a long-form investigation over several hours, Web Crime is expected to use Rocket Reels’ short-episode structure to deliver information quickly. Each episode can introduce a new development, reveal a clue or create another question for the audience. However, viewers should wait for the official series description before assuming specific plot details, characters or twists. The available announcement confirms the title, lead actor and director, but does not provide a complete synopsis.

Web Crime Episodes
The exact number of Web Crime episodes has not been clearly announced in the original Rocket Reels announcement. Since Rocket Reels is built around vertical micro-content, Web Crime is expected to use relatively short episodes rather than conventional television-length installments. The format is designed for mobile audiences who may watch several episodes during short breaks throughout the day.
The final episode count and individual episode duration should therefore be confirmed through the Rocket Reels platform when the series information is officially published.
Web Crime Release Date
Web Crime was announced as part of Rocket Reels’ original lineup in August 2025. The announcement identified Rishabh Chaddha as the star and Ankush Bhatt as the director. However, a specific standalone premiere date was not provided in the original announcement.
Because Rocket Reels has continued expanding its catalogue, viewers interested in Web Crime should check the platform’s latest listings for the current release status. It is better to rely on an official release announcement than on an unconfirmed date circulating online.
Where to Watch Web Crime?
Web Crime is associated with Rocket Reels and is expected to be available through the Rocket Reels platform. Rocket Reels was launched as a vertical OTT service specifically designed for mobile consumption. Its catalogue covers multiple genres, including crime, thriller, romance, mystery, horror, comedy and other short-form formats.
The platform’s original programming is designed around quick episodes and vertical-screen presentation, making Web Crime suitable for viewers who enjoy short crime dramas that can be watched directly on a smartphone.
