Fans of Hindi cinema have a new reason to celebrate as the digital landscape gears up for a fresh, feel-good romantic comedy. Parivarik Manuranjan is the latest original film heading straight to streaming, bringing together two of the most talented actors in the industry: Pankaj Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari. This project has already generated significant buzz due to its clean, family-friendly tone and its unique premise.
Parivarik Manuranjan Official Release Date
Sony LIV officially unveiled the first teaser for this highly anticipated film on Friday, 23 October 2026. While production was initially discussed for a 2025 window, the official premiere has been locked for November 2026. This direct to digital strategy highlights the growing trend of high quality Hindi films skipping theatrical windows to reach a global audience immediately through OTT platforms.
While the exact day in November is still being finalized by the network, fans can expect the film to drop mid month to capture the festive audience. Unlike many recent gritty thrillers, this film is being marketed as a shuddh parivarik rom-com, meaning a pure family romantic comedy, designed for viewers of all ages.
The Plot: A Mismatched Romance in an Ancestral Mansion
The story of Parivarik Manuranjan revolves around an unexpected encounter between two very different individuals. Aditi Rao Hydari plays Helen, a dedicated property manager who travels to a remote, quiet town. Her mission is to oversee and maintain a massive, aging ancestral mansion.
Upon her arrival, she discovers that the mansion is not as empty as she thought. It is inhabited by Ranjan Dubey, played by Pankaj Tripathi. Ranjan is an unmarried man who has lived a solitary life within the walls of this grand estate. The film explores the chemistry that develops as the organized, professional Helen interacts with the quirky, local resident Ranjan. It is a story of how love blossoms in the most quiet and unexpected corners of life.
Meet the Parivarik Manuranjan Cast
The film boasts a stellar ensemble that blends veteran comedic timing with graceful performances. The casting of Pankaj Tripathi in a romantic lead role is a significant departure from his usual intense or dark characters.

Behind the Scenes: Director and Producers
The creative force behind Parivarik Manuranjan is Varun V. Sharma, who takes the director’s chair for this project. Sharma is known for his ability to handle lighthearted narratives with emotional depth. The film is produced under the prestigious banners of Bhanushali Studios Limited (led by Vinod Bhanushali and Kamlesh Bhanushali) and AAZ Films (led by Himanshu Mehra and Ali Abbas Zafar).
Ali Abbas Zafar, who is typically associated with high octane action films, is taking a different route here as a producer. This shift suggests that the film will have high production values and a polished cinematic feel, even though it is releasing directly on a digital platform.

Why You Should Be Excited for This Pairing
The primary reason for the excitement surrounding this film is the first ever on-screen collaboration between Pankaj Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari. Tripathi is widely loved for his roles in Mirzapur and Stree, where he often plays witty or powerful figures. Seeing him transition into a romantic lead opposite the ethereal Aditi Rao Hydari offers a fresh dynamic that Bollywood rarely explores.
Furthermore, the film promises to be a “clean” comedy. In an era where many OTT releases rely on violence or adult themes, Parivarik Manuranjan aims to bring the whole family together in front of the screen. With the scenic backdrop of an ancestral mansion and a quiet town, the cinematography is expected to be as warm as the story itself.
Parivarik Manuranjan is shaping up to be the perfect winter watch for 2026. By combining the acting prowess of Pankaj Tripathi with the grace of Aditi Rao Hydari, Director Varun V. Sharma is set to deliver a story that is both funny and heartfelt. Keep your Sony LIV subscriptions ready for its November 2026 debut.
