Honey Trap Squad is an Indian Hindi action-thriller web series featuring Karanvir Bohra and Akanksha Puri in leading roles. The series combines espionage, romance, undercover operations and crime, following a secret group of female agents who use unconventional methods to take down a dangerous counterfeit-money network. The show originally premiered in 2023 and became known for its fast-paced spy-thriller storyline and glamorous presentation.
There is an important distinction for viewers searching for the title in 2026: Honey Trap Squad is a separate series from the newer Honey Trap micro-drama announced by Rocket Reels in 2026. The Rocket Reels title stars Zakir Hussain, Shilpi Roy and others, whereas Honey Trap Squad features Karanvir Bohra, Akanksha Puri, Ruma Sharma and Sharad Malhotra.

Honey Trap Squad Story
The story revolves around a secret group of female RAW agents who operate outside the normal public structure of the agency. Their mission is to dismantle an international counterfeit-money operation connected to a dangerous criminal network.
The agents rely on intelligence, undercover identities, deception and seduction to get close to people connected with the racket. Their work becomes increasingly dangerous when an assassin enters the picture and threatens to expose or eliminate the undercover team.
At the centre of the story is Riya Roy, played by Akanksha Puri. Her character becomes involved in the operation while navigating the complicated emotional and professional relationships surrounding the mission.
Karanvir Bohra’s Ashish adds another layer to the narrative. His character is connected to Riya’s storyline, giving the series a romantic dimension alongside its espionage and crime elements.
The result is a mix of spy thriller, action, romance and mystery, with the agents constantly having to decide how far they can go to complete their mission.
Honey Trap Squad Episodes
Season 1 consists of five episodes. The available episode listings identify them as:
- The Package

- The Myth
- The Bait
- The Weapon
The episodes have runtimes of roughly 19 to 22 minutes, making the series considerably longer per episode than today’s ultra-short vertical micro-dramas.
The episode structure gradually raises the stakes. The Package begins the operation, while The Interview and The Myth develop the investigation. The Bait brings the mystery closer to the central characters before The Weapon delivers the final stage of the operation.

Honey Trap vs Honey Trap Squad: What’s the Difference?
This is particularly important because the two titles can easily get mixed up.
Honey Trap Squad is the 2023 spy thriller starring Karanvir Bohra and Akanksha Puri.
Meanwhile, Honey Trap is a 2026 Rocket Reels micro-drama announced as part of Rocket Reels’ new slate, featuring Zakir Hussain, Shilpi Roy, Shiva, Piyush Sohane, Ruchi Gujjar and Gyan Prakash, with Sajan Agrawal as director.
So, if you’re searching for the show featuring Karanvir Bohra and Akanksha Puri, the correct title is Honey Trap Squad, not the newer Rocket Reels series.
Final Verdict
Honey Trap Squad blends undercover espionage, crime, romance and action into a compact five-episode thriller. Akanksha Puri’s Riya Roy and Karanvir Bohra’s Ashish form two of the show’s key characters, while Ruma Sharma, Sandeepa Virk, Sharad Malhotra and Manu Punjabi round out the ensemble.
