Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s latest Bollywood venture, ‘Animal,’ featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, is rewriting box office records. Following the success of ‘Kabir Singh,’ Vanga’s second Hindi film is making waves in cinema halls.
As of Wednesday, ‘Animal’ has raked in an impressive domestic net revenue of Rs 312.96 crore. The film’s seventh day witnessed robust audience turnout during morning and afternoon shows, adding an extra Rs 15.13 crore to its earnings. This propels the total domestic collection to Rs 328.48 crore. Globally, the movie has garnered a staggering Rs 527.6 crore within six days, as reported by T-Series, the film’s production company.
Ranbir Kapoor adds another feather to his cap with ‘Animal,’ marking his third film to cross the Rs 250 crore mark, following the success of ‘Sanju’ and ‘Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva’ (Rs 257.44 crore). Kapoor’s journey began with ‘Saawariya,’ but it was in 2012 with Anurag Basu’s ‘Barfi’ that he achieved his first Rs 100 crore milestone.

The triumph of ‘Animal’ is not just a personal milestone for Ranbir Kapoor; it also holds significance for Bobby Deol. Despite a brief yet impactful role, Deol is visibly moved by the overwhelming love and appreciation from the audience.
Looking ahead, ‘Animal’ has the potential to continue its impressive run, especially with no major releases in the coming week. The only competition on the horizon is Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki,’ slated to hit theaters on December 21.
