The teaser trailer kicks off with Wade Wilson enjoying his birthday festivities alongside his cohorts, only to find himself unexpectedly abducted from his home by the Time Variance Authority, the agency responsible for overseeing the multiverse within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
“Your little cinematic universe is about to change,” quips Reynolds in the clip.
True to Deadpool’s irreverent style, the trailer showcases an abundance of action-packed sequences, R-rated humor, and witty banter, with Wade hilariously referring to himself as “Marvel Jesus.” Towards the end of the teaser, viewers catch a brief glimpse of Wolverine from behind, hinting at his forthcoming appearance.
