Phalguni Bangera is a dancer and choreographer from the Telugu entertainment industry who is now attracting wider attention as one of the contestants on The Traitors Telugu. While she may not be as familiar to mainstream audiences as some of the actors and television personalities in the lineup, Bangera has built a career through dance, choreography, television appearances and film projects.
Her participation in The Traitors Telugu gives viewers an opportunity to see a different side of her personality. Instead of performing choreography or working behind the scenes, she will be competing in a reality format built around observation, strategy, trust and deception.
Who Is Phalguni Bangera?
Phalguni Bangera is an Indian dancer and choreographer associated primarily with Telugu entertainment. She was born and brought up in Oman before moving to India to pursue her professional career in dance and choreography.
Over the years, she has worked on television programs, films, stage performances and special events. Her career has included collaborations with several well-known choreographers and actors from the South Indian entertainment industry.
Bangera is particularly associated with dance-based television programs and has appeared in projects such as Dhee 10 and Aataah 6 Juniors. Her work has also extended to Telugu films, where choreography has allowed her to combine technical dance skills with visual storytelling.
Phalguni Bangera’s Choreography Career
Dance has been the central part of Phalguni Bangera’s professional journey. After moving from Oman to India, she developed her career in an industry where dance plays an important role in films, television and live entertainment.
She has worked with choreographer Shekar Master and has been involved in choreography for several Telugu movies. Her film-related work includes projects such as Venky Mama, Dear Comrade, iSmart Shankar, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Raju Gari Gadhi 3, Bheeshma, Soorarai Pottru and Alludu Adhurs.
Her experience is not limited to films. Bangera has also participated in stage shows, special dance events and television programs. She has reportedly conducted dance classes as well, giving her experience as both a performer and instructor.
Phalguni Bangera in The Traitors Telugu
Phalguni Bangera is one of the 20 contestants participating in The Traitors Telugu. The show is the Telugu adaptation of the internationally popular reality format and is hosted by actor Teja Sajja. The basic concept revolves around a group of contestants divided into Innocents and hidden Traitors. The Innocents have to identify the Traitors, while the Traitors must secretly eliminate contestants without revealing their identities.
For Bangera, this represents a major change from her usual work in the entertainment industry. Her professional experience in observing performers, working with different personalities and understanding body language could become useful in a game where small behavioural changes may provide clues. However, the game is not simply about identifying suspicious people. Contestants also need to form alliances, gain trust, make strategic decisions and avoid becoming targets themselves.

Phalguni Bangera’s Journey Ahead
Although Bangera is primarily recognised for her work as a dancer and choreographer, The Traitors Telugu could introduce her to audiences who may not have followed her earlier career. Reality television can reveal aspects of a contestant’s personality that are not normally visible through film or choreography work. In a game based on trust and deception, Bangera will have to balance her natural personality with strategic gameplay.
Whether she chooses to remain quiet and observant or becomes an active participant in group discussions will be interesting to watch.
