Best Hindi OTT Releases for Diwali

Dilwali Diwali is a one-hour family film on Netflix (Image: Netflix)

Dilwali Diwali (Netflix): the most Diwali-friendly pick of the week. Ritesh Menon’s one-hour film follows Ansh (Mihir Ahuja), an engineer who returns from Norway after three years. His parents, played by Manoj Pahwa and Neelu Kohli, and his sister pretend to live in the posh flat he bought them, until he decides to throw a big Diwali party there. Reviews call it predictable but warm, with Pahwa and Kohli as the highlights. Ideal for watching with family.

Haiwaan (SonyLIV): Priyadarshan’s remake of Oppam, with Saif Ali Khan as a blind protector and Akshay Kumar as a killer. It flopped in theatres, but streaming gives it a second life. Read our full Haiwaan OTT guide.

Blind Game (ZEE5): Arjun Rampal plays a suspended cop chasing missing cash, with Priyamani as a journalist. It’s free on ZEE5’s Free 5 service. See the Blind Game story and cast.

Mirzapur: The Movie (Prime Video): if you missed it, the ₹300 crore-plus theatrical hit is streaming with around 15 minutes of extra footage.
